The Meetings Industry Marketing Awards were set up to reward excellence in marketing in the conference and events industry. Entry is open to any organisation engaged in the organisation or provision of product or service to the UK meetings and events industry. The organisation does not need to be based in the UK, but should be active in the UK market. Organisations value the awards and for being recognised for their role in raising the standards of marketing in the industry, you can view the finalists from our last event in 2015 here!. You don’t have to be the biggest organisation or have the largest budget to be the best – scoring criteria includes objectives, campaign strategy and execution, creativity, use of budget and return on investment.

  • Best Print Advertising Campaign
  • Best Social Media Campaign

  • Best Digital Marketing Campaign (Email, App, Mobile & Online)
  • Best Brochure (Digital or Print)

  • Best Use of Video Marketing

The subject of your entry must have been featured in your marketing campaigns between 1st January 2016 to 30th June 2017. Your entry material should be submitted no later than Thursday 31st August 2017.

The MIMA presentation ceremony will take place during The EvCom Awards on 17 November 2017 at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel, London

Once you have registered to enter you will be contacted with your username and password to access the online interactive entry system where you can upload information and supporting evidence.

The criteria required for each MIMA entry (excluding Marketing Team of the Year) includes the following main areas: Executive summary – Max: 200 words

  • Objective of campaign – Max: 200 words
  • Strategy of campaign – Max: 200 words
  • Creativity of campaign – Max: 200 words
  • Evaluation of Campaign, use of budget, methods of measurement – Max: 200 words
  • Evaluation of Campaign, return on investment and/or return on objectives – Max: 200 words

You can also enter our special award for Marketing Team of the Year.

Entry costs are as follows:

  • ¬£295+VAT for your first entry

  • ¬£195+VAT for any subsequent entry for the same organisation
