The Meetings Industry Marketing Awards were set up to reward excellence in marketing in the conference and events industry. Entry is open to any organisation engaged in the organisation or provision of product or service to the UK meetings and events industry. The organisation does not need to be based in the UK, but should be active in the UK market. You don’t have to be the biggest organisation or have the largest budget to be the best – scoring criteria includes objectives, campaign strategy and execution, creativity, use of budget and return on investment.

There are 12 available entry categories:
The subject of your entry must have been featured in your marketing campaigns between 1st July 2017 to 30th June 2018. Your entry material should be submitted no later than 31st August 2018.
The MIMA presentation ceremony will take place in November 2018 in London.
Once you have registered to enter you will be contacted with your username and password to access the online interactive entry system where you can upload information and supporting evidence.
The criteria required for each MIMA entry (excluding Marketing Team of the Year) includes the following main areas: Executive summary – Max: 200 words
- Objective of campaign – Max: 200 words
- Strategy of campaign – Max: 200 words
- Creativity of campaign – Max: 200 words
- Evaluation of Campaign, use of budget, methods of measurement – Max: 200 words
- Evaluation of Campaign, return on investment and/or return on objectives – Max: 200 words
